THE GOAL: Make an impact.
When you volunteer at The Landing MN, you have the unique opportunity to serve those experiencing homelessness within your community and step into their space. The Day Center provides a safe place for our guests, allowing them the chance to relax, take a breath and recharge.
By giving your time to serve our guests, you will have the chance to get to know the people behind the stigmas; hear their stories, witness their talents, and sit in awe of their resilience as they take on each new day.
We welcome all - supporters and skeptics - to walk through our doors and experience first-hand the impact of giving back to those in need within our community.
VOLUNTEER: Day Center
The Landing MN Day Centers offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, including serving guests in the cafe, organizing incoming donations, and additional opportunities.
HOW IT WORKS:
For first-time volunteers at our new Day Center, we require the completion of a brief volunteer training session prior to the first volunteer shift. Volunteers must be 18+.

VOLUNTEER: Meal Service
The Landing MN is excited to welcome groups from across the community to serve a meal to our guests experiencing homelessness.
HOW IT WORKS:
Your group of 3-4 people will join us at the Day Center to serve a meal that is planned and prepared by The Landing MN (this allows us to meet the storage, preparation and cleaning requirements in place for a licensed kitchen). For our Breakfast Program, please plan to be on-site from 7:30am to 9:30am and for our evening meal 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
Participants must be 18 and up.
Former Guests: Former guests of The Landing MN must sustain stable housing for a minimum of one year prior to volunteering.
