DAN FIFIELD | PRESIDENT + CO-FOUNDER

Dan and Holly are the driving forces behind The Landing MN, having founded the organization in December 2018. The husband and wife duo have a passion for helping others, and work to make changes in our community to provide their friends facing homelessness the assistance to make positive steps forward.

When they’re not working hard on all things The Landing MN, Dan and Holly enjoy spending their free time with family - their 9 kids and 14 grandkids - and their four pups.

HOLLY FIFIELD | TREASURER + CO-FOUNDER

JOEL LACROIX | VICE PRESIDENT

Joel works in information technology, coaching software teams to reach their short and long-term goals. He has lived in Rochester since 2001 and been involved in local ministry efforts from men’s ministry to outreach service projects. Joel enjoys connecting people and organizations to use their shared passions to serve together. And sometimes even step beyond their comfort zones to do it! In his free time, he travels with his wife, Kimberly, and spends time with his two grown children.

SYLVIA ROGERS | SECRETARY

Sylvia has served the Rochester area since 2013 as a realtor with Edina Realty. In previous years, she has served on the Executive Board of The Fellowship of Christian Athletes where she served as President for 3 years. Sylvia has also served on the Executive Board of the Rochester Amateur Sport Commissioner for 11 years and serving as President of the Board. In addition to her professional endeavors, she works to end human trafficking and animal abuse/neglect. In her spare time, Sylvia loves to travel with her husband, Steve, and spend time with her family and two dogs.

JEFF MATTESON | BOARD MEMBER

With 13 years of experience in full time ministry, Jeff serves as the lead pastor at Hope Summit Christian Church in Rochester, where he has resided for 5 years. He has a passion for following Jesus’ call to care for those on the fringes of society. When Jeff isn’t hanging out with his wife and three children or leading the church, h enjoys painting, bladesmithing, and playing tabletop games.

TIFFANY PIOTROWICZ | BOARD MEMBER

Tiffany has dedicated her life to giving back to the community she has called home for the past 30+ years. In addition to being the owner of a local business (TerraLoco), Tiffany is the race director for the Stay Out of the Sun Run and the Gift of Life 5K. Supportive of The Landing's mission since the beginning, Tiffany is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness. When Tiffany isn't working, volunteering, or planning her next event, you can find her painting or spending time with her husband and two fur kids at home.

JESSICA WILLIAMS | BOARD MEMBER

Jessica is a voice you may recognize on a few local Townsquare Media radio stations as a voice on commercials as well as a host for the Early Morning Show on Y-105FM (aka Jessica On The Radio). She's been part of Rochester for over 21 years and has worked with various nonprofits throughout the years, including helping start a program for pregnant and parenting teens called Teen MOPS. When she has free time, she hangs out with her 3 kids, her husband, and her two very large puppies, one that is a St. Bernard!

ALEX HURLEBAUS | EX OFFICIO MEMBER + DIRECTOR OF SOCIAL SERVICES

A graduate of Winona State’s Bachelors of Social Work program and a Marine Corps Veteran, Alex has 5 years of experience working in social services in Rochester. With his background in working with those facing homelessness, Alex joined The Landing MN team eager to continue to help in-need individuals. He is known for being outgoing and outspoken in the face of inequality and injustice; qualities which have lent themselves well in his efforts toward being a good social advocate and father.

A Rochester-native, Alex resides here with his son, spouse-equivalent, her son, and their black lab. His free time is occupied with kids sports, reading, bike riding, and enjoying local coffee shops with his family.
